Friday nights are family movie nights and tonight we watched Avengers. This is one of the oldest rated movies that we have let the boys see to this point, but David and I had watched it previously and we told them to filter certain parts where we would fast forward while they closed eyes. They have seen Captain America and Thor which we filtered in the same way; still holding off on the Iron Mans.
They enjoyed Avengers soooo much!! Dax's favorite scene was when Hulk and Thor had just successfully worked as a team and taken out some of the enemy and Hulk side punches Thor. Cole immediately stood up after the movie to reenact it for him, put David in place, stood beside him and said, "I'll be Thor".
Cole's favorite scenes were Hawkeye shooting without looking and when Hulk picked up the bad guy, shook him like a rag-doll and said, "Puny god!"
Mom's favorite was when Capt. America said, "There is only one God, Ma'am, and I'm pretty sure He doesn't dress like that..."
Dad's favorites were anything that Tony Stark/ Iron Man says.

The boys in my class LOVE the scene where Hulk punches Thor. They retell it again and again and act it out too! So funny! :)
And such a good movie. :)
